First Aid Re-qualifier

Overview:
This 2 day First Aid Re-qualifier course is suitable for the allocated workplace First Aider whose current certificate is due to expire.  (The HSE regulations state that all delegates undertaking this course must be in possession of their First Aid at Work qualification. It must not have expired beyond 28 days of the expiry date as shown on their First Aid at Work Certificate).

This training enables successful delegates to take charge of a situation if an accident or injury including assessing an incident, recognising signs and symptoms of injury and illness, assisting a casualty who is suffering from major injury and illness, chest injuries, spinal injuries and anaphylaxis.

The qualification is assessed via an on-going and written questioning and practical demonstration.
Successful delegates are issued with a new Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate, along with a wallet sized plastic card detailing their qualification.

The certificate is valid for a further three years.
