Train the Trainer

This interactive one day train the trainer programme focuses on the fundamentals  of designing and delivering training packages promoting in-house training.

It will provide the skills for trainers to bring to life their session and ensure a measurable output from the programmes. Delegates will have the opportunity during the session to apply the skills learnt.

The teaching method of the programme will be through practical demonstrations, hands on activities, case studies and observational exercises.   Delegates will be able to identify, describe and demonstrate the skills necessary to deliver effective training.

The subjects covered are:

• Training planning to meet objectives.
• The training cycle model.
• Identify barriers to learning and teaching.
• Designing measurable achievable outcomes.
• Identify legal responsibilities as a trainer including the Equality Act 2010.
• Recognise the techniques to support and manage trainees that may appear to be disengaged.
• Distinguish between different learning styles, methods of delivery and the training materials available to conduct motivational training.
• Practice group engagement and manage group dynamics using flexible and diverse training methods.
• Give individuals constructive developmental feedback
